How to fix Bootloop in Asus Zenfone

Today I will share a few routines How to Fix Bootloop on Zenfone 5 or Zenfone 6. Bootloop implies your Zenfone doesn't boot up right, its simply beginning and beginning and nothing happens, or its beginning and closing down and beginning once more. It just means your Zenfone makes a circle while booting

Method 1 - Safe mode

You can enter into Safe Mode. Anyhow, you must know the reason for bootloop of your Zenfone, for instance, My Zenfone Bootloop in light of the fact that unintentionally introduce awful applications/apk. This Method won't delete your information.


1. Turn off your Zenfone.

2. Turn on your Zenfone and when it shows the Asus Logo quickly press the volume up until it enter the safe mode.

3. You can fix the problem of boot loop by deleting the cause of it.

4.  Restart you zenfone and if the boot loops is fix or not.


Method 2 - Droidboot mode / Recovery mode

Note : This method will erase all your data.


1. Turn off your zenfone.

2. Press Power button +  Volume to enter Droidboot mode.

3. Choose the Recovery Mode. Wait patiently.

4. When your enter the recovery but Red  Dead android Robot was appear, it means your zenfone recovery mode is missing. Therefore try to flash recovery, make sure to flash your current recovery. (If you can enter recovery disregard this step.)

5. Choose Wipe data/Factory Reset and wait until its done.

6. Choose Wipe Cache Partition and apply update from ADB. See here how to flash in ADB.




Asus Zenfone Bootloop Problem - Fix

If your Asus Zenfone 5 doesn’t boot up right after you installed an app or  tweak something in the system. It keeps on shutting down and restarting again, chances are your device is on a bootloop. How to get out of it and boot your phone normally? Here is the bootloop solution for Asus Zenfone.


1. Download the ADB fastboot tool and extract it in a folder.

2. Get the latest firmware for your Asus Zenfone and extract the downloaded file the folder where you extracted the ADB Fastboot Tool.

3. Turn off your device and boot to recovery by pressing and holding the power button, volume up and down rockers simultaneously.  Don’t release the buttons until the recovery menu appears. Apply the update from ADB option.

4. Connect your device to your PC or Windows laptop using a compatible USB cable.

5. Open the command prompt inside the adb fastboot tool folder.

6. Type adb devices then enter, if connection is successful there will be a list of Asus Zenfone devices.

7. Type adb sideload file.zip (file.zip = the name of the packages you want to flash) then enter.

8. Wait until the flashing is done.

9. Reboot and have fun. :)
